Bobby Rydell Live 1960 - Volare

Bobby Rydell appeared several times on Perry Como's TV show, and Como obviously enjoyed having him as a guest. Here he is in 1960 performing his hit single "Volare" -- or as the original Italian version of the song is known: "Nel blu dipento di blu."

Interestingly, the airborne people floating in the background not only vaguely correspond to some of the song's lyrics, but also to one of the Marc Chagall paintings that inspired the song.
