We look at personal family photos of the Grand Duchess Vladimir (Dimitri’s great-great grandmother), Dimitri’s grandmother Princess Olga of Greece and Denmark and of his mother, Princess Maria Pia of Savoy, among others. We pair watercolors from the Grand Duchess Elena’s jewelry appraisal with Prince Dimitri’s modern pieces and discuss the enduring influence of the motifs, materials and techniques of his family’s historic collection.
