Surveying a Potential Roman Villa

Last year, we discovered what looks to be a small Roman villa.

Tesserae, Ceramic Building Material (CBM), pottery and metallic artefacts were recovered from depths between 0 and 13cm.
A repeat visit after ploughing and the drilling of peas has revealed even more of the similar evidence we found in 2017.

Apologies for the wind noise, this must have been one of the windiest days ever detecting..... and on our very first attempt at videoing a survey!
The challenge was to fieldwalk and metal-detect whilst filming with the emphasis on making it fair on the cameraman so as not to miss out on finding artefacts too.
I'm sure that with practice, and constructive criticism, we will improve our end results.

I purchased the track created by Johnny Flynn for the TV program 'detectorists' from Google Play and a link to the download is here: https://goo.gl/ZvfawT

The track "Outro" is by the extremely talented French group M83 who have had several tracks released as film scores, TV adverts and music fills on lots of TV programs.
"Outro" from their brilliant album can be downloaded here: https://goo.gl/6RPXRs

M83 are a "Must See Live" group and can't wait for their next tour!

High Definition images of all the finds recovered on the day can be seen here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmmtG5wZ
