When using a handgun in the COD series, always hug your cover tightly and "slice the pie" when you come to it's end or enter s doorway. Start from one end and sweep from your view at one end to the other. with the handguns having such a quick aiming motion and walk speed, very rarely do you need to drop your sights. Of course, it always helps to have multiple flashbangs as well!
