Aligning Deadbolt with Strike Plate (#5510)

Having trouble locking or unlocking a deadbolt is fairly common. Wood framed houses settle and shift over time which can knock door frames out of square. As a result, it can require a lot of elbow grease to lock that deadbolt. The problem is the strike plate on the doorjamb no longer lines up with the deadbolt inside the door. Here's one way to fix it.
