Advance Decision to Refuse Treatment - What you don't want

An advance decision to refuse treatment (ADRT) is a statement of your wishes to refuse a certain treatment in the UK. An ADRT form makes sure everyone knows what treatments you do not want to have, if there comes a time when you are unable to make your own decisions. Clare Fuller, presents a simple overview of what to do if a person asks for an ADRT and how to set up one up. Clare Fuller is a Registered Nurse with 30 years experience in End-of-Life Care. She is also a a Lasting Power of Attorney Consultant and CQC specialist advisor for End-of-Life Care.
