Just across the river from Newburgh and Cornwall lies this adorable town with way more to do outside than I knew! Looking for a super cute main street, great shopping and dining, and scenic Hudson Valley hiking with kids, Beacon New York in Dutchess County is the spot! We ventured to Fishkill Overlook Falls, lunch at Yankee Clipper Diner, and a quick and easy hike to waterfall and marshes in Madam Brett Park.
