Ephrat Asherie Dance: Shadow Cities | Dance Performance at Jacob's Pillow Festival 2026

August 5 — 9, 2026 in the Doris Duke Theatre, Ephrat Asherie Dance will perform "Shadow Cities," created in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning pianist and composer Arturo O’Farrill.

Performed by seven dancers and four musicians, this work is a contemplative, raucous, celebratory reflection on the unexpected ways we encounter our most enlivened selves. In "Shadow Cities," the company moves seamlessly through the edges of light and dark, exploring themes of belonging, longing and the ways we find joy in the in-between.
