Russia used Su 57 fighters to 'attack Ukraine's air defense network'

uThe fleet of four Su-57 stealth fighters once formed a coordinated formation to attack Ukrainian air defense systems, according to Russian state media.
"The Russian Air Force has carried out a campaign to identify and attack the Ukrainian air defense network with a fleet of four Su-57 stealth fighters. These fighters combine into a unified information network, capable of communicating, transmit positioning data and target parameters in real time," TASS news agency today quoted an unnamed source in the Russian air force.
This source added that the integration of the Su-57 into the unified combat information space has significantly increased the effectiveness of target strikes, while the fighter's radar-stealth ability has also been confirmed in the process. mission in Ukraine.
The Russian and Ukrainian defense ministries have not commented on the report.
This is the first time Russian state media has reported on the role of suppressing the Ukrainian air defense network of the Su-57 stealth fighter. Unnamed sources in the Russian defense industry earlier said that the Su-57 fighter jet started fighting in Ukraine about 2-3 weeks after the special military operation was conducted.
During these engagements, the Su-57 operated outside the range of enemy air defense systems and used a variety of missiles to hit targets on Ukrainian territory.
American military experts believe that deploying Su-57 for the military campaign in Ukraine is a move in line with the activities of the Russian air force. This stealth fighter can carry a variety of long-range missiles, capable of hitting many targets deep in enemy territory from a great distance.
Operating out of range of enemy air defense forces will limit the risk of Russia's most modern fighter model being shot down or crashed due to technical problems.
With air-to-air missions, operating outside Ukraine's airspace is not a big obstacle for the Su-57. The basic R-77-1 active radar-guided missile on the Su-35S has a range of 110 km, while the upgraded K-77M variant tested on the Su-57 has a double range.
The Su-57 can also carry Izdeliye 810 long-range missiles, a version developed from the R-37M series to hide in the weapons bay of stealth fighters. The performance of the Izdeliye 810 missile has not been announced, but the original R-37M model can destroy targets from a distance of 200 km.
