Costa Rica UFO zone. A few kilometres north of Lake Arenal lies a mysterious lake on the surface of an ancient extinct volcanic crater. Lago Cote.

Naturally shaped like a heart. With great significance to Costa Rica’s indigenous culture and is historically important as a sacred place for tribal ceremonies and rituals.
What looks like a UFO was photographed over Lake Cote
by the National Geographic Institute of Costa Rica in the early 70s.
Today, it is a remote tropical sanctuary with important heritage preservation initiatives.
