Young welder to the rescue!

We had our first real mobile welding customer who broke a chrome moly parachute tube that also doubled as their trailer hitch. And to make matters more desperate, they were currently third in their class and weren't allowed to make a pass with a broken parachute mount. Off Nathaniel went to grab his welder, even forgoing his run in his own class to assist these racers in need. This was an extremely difficult job, with tight spaces and a thick 1/4" steel plate to create new gussets to reinforce the new mount. This put Nathaniel to the test, as well as our small generator that struggled with the thick plate steel. Watch to see how this all goes down. AND... we make our fastest pass of Drag Week so far, dipping back into the 12's!
