The Bose SoundLink Flex Gen 2 (2024) and the SoundLink Mini 2 (2015) both cost ₹16,000, but they’re worlds apart in design and features. The old one had a full metal build with no water protection, while the new one uses mixed materials, is IP67 rated, and feels lighter with softer buttons. Sound quality has evolved — the Mini 2 was bass-heavy and overpowered vocals, but the Flex 2 sounds more balanced and refined. Battery life hasn’t changed much though — still around 10–12 hours even after a decade.
