Recreational boaters ready to cruise for holiday weekend
Recreational boaters swabbed their decks Friday in preparation to cruise this holiday weekend. Boaters told 11 News they are excited to once again be able to navigate around the area of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge. They said recreational traffic pretty much came to a standstill until recently. Salvage crews had to reassess wreckage remains and complete another survey of the area after the Dali container ship was freed and tugged to Seagirt Marine Terminal. Crews are focused on getting wreckage out of the water and from the bottom of the Patapsco River.
