In a surprising development, tribal families from Lulukidihi area under Balisankara Block of Sundargarh district have refused to participate in the national census.
The tribal residents have openly stated that they do not recognize the Indian Constitution, nor will they follow the government or administrative system. Due to this belief, they declined to cooperate when census officials visited their homes, despite repeated efforts to convince them.
Even after the Tahasildar personally visited the village and tried to persuade them, the tribal families stood firm in their decision, forcing officials to return without collecting data.
