Hamilton's historical accuracy comes into question by way of the musical's exaggeration of Alexander Hamilton and Angelica Schuyler's relationship. Did Hamilton and Angelica have an affair? That's what some historians believe, which is likely not the true story. While the Lin-Manuel Miranda Broadway musical on Disney+ doesn't go that far, it still inflates their affair of the heart and omits certain facts that make their deep love in the play even more unlikely.
