Which way the strip deviates? Tighten the roll gap on that side.

Detailed Steps

Observe the strip's movement to accurately determine the direction of deviation;

Identify the side with the larger roll gap as the deviating side;

Make slight adjustments to the reduction device on that side to narrow the roll gap at the corresponding position;

Gradually adjust the roll gaps at both ends until they are uniform, and the strip will automatically center and straighten out;

Adjustments should be made in small, multiple steps; avoid making large adjustments at once to prevent bending or thickness issues.

Simple Example

If the strip keeps deviating to the left → The left roll gap is too wide → Just make slight adjustments to the left reduction device to tighten the gap and balance the reduction amounts on both ends to correct it.
