Freezer Meals for Postpartum Prep: Getting Ready for Baby

We only have a few weeks left before our third baby is here so I needed to get our freezer stocked up in order to make my life easier during my postpartum recovery.

Chicken pesto bake
2 lb of chicken
1 box of pasta choice
1 container of Kirkland's pesto

Grill or boil your chicken and cut into cubes. Boil your pasta until Al dente. Add pasta and chicken to a baking dish and add pesto over your mixture and mix together until evenly distributed. Top with cheese and bake until cheese is melted.

Lasagna
2 lb of hamburger meat
1 lb of sweet Italian sausage
2 jars of favorite spaghetti sauce
2 cups of cottage cheese
4 tablespoons of garlic minc
1 large onion
1 box of oven ready lasagna noodles
Favorite cheeses as much as you like!

Cook onion and garlic until translucent and a little bit of olive oil in a large pot. Add in hamburger meat and Italian sausage and cook through. Drain grease from your meat and add in your spaghetti sauce and cottage cheese and whatever spices you like. After mixture has simmered for a while add a small amount to the bottom of a pan and start layering with noodles and cheese until you are to the top of the pan top with lots of yummy delicious cheese and bake until the cheese is melted.

Chicken enchiladas
2 lds chicken breast shredded
3cans of enchilada sauce
1 Can refried beans
1 onion diced
4 tablespoons of minced garlic
2 cans of green chilies
flour tortillas
cheddar cheese

Grill or boil your chicken breast and shred. In a pan saute your onions and garlic until translucent. Add in your shredded chicken breast one can of enchilada sauce one can of refried beans and two cans of green chilies and mixed together in simmer. Add chicken mixture to tortillas and roll. at a small amount of enchilada sauce to the bottom of a pan and put your tortillas crease aside down into your pan. Top with enchilada sauce and cheese and bake until cheese is nice and melted.
Chicken pot pie
3 can chicken breast
whatever veggies you like
one stick of butter
half a cup of flour
2 cups of chicken stock
1/2 heavy whipping cream
1 cup Milk
pie crust

Melt butter in a pan and add flour. Cook for a few minutes. Add in canned veggies to your liking whatever spices you like and all of your liquids and then simmer until it thickens. Add filling to your pan and cover with pie crust and bake according to the pie crust directions
Sausage balls
1 ld sausage
2 cups cheese
1 1/2 cups bisquick

Mix and roll into balls bake at 400 for 17min.

Salsa
1can Whole tomatoes drained
2 Serrano peppers
1 tablespoon of garlic
1/4 of an onion
2 tablespoons of lime juice
salt to taste

Blend everything up and mix together
