Endometriosis is a gynecological condition that involves the abnormal presence of endometrial cells/tissue in areas of the body where it should not be. In this lesson, we discuss the consequences of having endometrial cells and tissue in places in the body where it should not be, including certain signs and symptoms, such as changes to menstruation, and other consequences including affects on fertility.
