Ep.1: "It Is What It Is" [Product Review] - XADO Atomic Metal Conditioner

This is our first official film, in which we test a much-discussed and slightly controversial car product: the 'atomic metal conditioner' from XADO. The outcome was quite contrary to our (admittedly skeptical) expectations, but as Baraza JM so clearly states at the end: "it is what it is".

We did two compression tests across all cylinders, and we did two fuel economy runs, using the "before and after" formula for both parameters. The results were very telling and more dramatic than anybody thought.

The compression figures went up by an astonishing 11% average, and the consumption went down by an even more unbelievable 34%, all recorded on video.

We tried to keep constant as many influential factors as possible, in accordance with the tenets of science:

1. We used the same compression gauge before and after, operated by the same technician
2. We used the same vehicle with the same occupancy to keep weight at the same level
3. We chose an open route (Kitengela - Namanga and back) for consistency since it is free of traffic and therefore much easier to maintain a steady, consistent (and legal) speed.
4. The driving schedule was also kept the same: Baraza JM drove from Kitengela to Namanga, then Billwydad Wangai drove from Namanga back to Kitengela on both occasions.
5. The fuel economy test formula is the industry standard:
-Fill the tank. Take note of the mileage
-Drive up and down
-Refill the tank and take note of the new mileage. Also take note of the amount of fuel refilled
-Divide the two numbers (kilometers covered against fuel consumed) to get an accurate mileage figure in km/l
