🔵 How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Squares

Tired of Chocolate chip cookies (as if) and looking for something new? Well here they are - Chocolate Chip Cookie Squares - a cross between cookies and squares with a chocolate glaze... Easy to make with cookie dough and chocolate chips.

Ingredients:
½ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup + 2 Tbsp flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips

Method:
Pre-Heat oven to 350ºF
Cream together butter and brown sugar, then beat in egg and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture.
Fold in ½ of the chocolate chips.
Spread into an 8x8" baking pan, and bake 30 minutes for chewy, or 35 minutes for crunchy.
Remove from oven and immediately spread remaining chocolate chips on top. Smooth them out as they melt.

Makes 1 8x8" cookie... or a as many smaller ones as you like.
