The Oris Aquis 400 Punches Up | Swiss Dive Watch Review by 555 Gear

The Oris Aquis 400 is the result of 20 years of refinement of its staple dive watch model from this respected independent Swiss wristwatch brand. This latest iteration brings Oris's impressive 5 Day Power Reserve in house 400 movement. It is a production movement tour de force especially for the brand. The watch itself is beautifully finished with this model especially pretty blue ceramic bezel and gradient blue dial. It is clearly a move upward for the brand's market, and it comes at a big $3500 price on the featured dive bracelet. I find it basically flawless on paper and in person, but the Aquis model itself seems to be from a bygone era of desk divers, at a time when the competition offers more reasonably sized case sizes and more timeless vintage appointments.
