Tamiya DF01 First Run - Mitsubishi Lancer Dakar Rally Car

Welcome to the first run of my Tamiya DF-01, the Mitsubishi Lancer Repsol Ralliart Dakar rally car! We filmed this at sunset, so hopefully you can see the included LED lights better in the twilight! This is just a gentle first run, so next time I will be looking for some rougher ground and maybe a few jumps to give it a proper rally run!

The full title of this kit is the Tamiya Team Repsol Mitsubishi Ralliart Racing Lancer #58421, DF-01 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit, replicating the car which raced the 2009 Dakar Rally.

The chassis features a shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain, fully enclosed gearboxes and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with oil dampers.

DF-01 Features:
The DF-01 Suspension system has plenty of suspension stroke allowing dynamic driving on both on-road and off-road surfaces. Rally tyres included.
Shaft driven 4WD chassis with horizontally mounted motor fitted to the rear gearbox.
Front and rear metal geared differentials.
CVA Super Mini dampers for front and rear suspension.
Hight brightness LED light unit (TLU-01) is included with the kit.
