STOVE TRANSFORMATION *Faux beam mantel from start to finish| Drywall between stove and fridge

I thought that my stove corner needed a twist. It was a blank space without personality. The first step has been adding brick tiles with my kitchen transformation, you can find the link here:

The second step has been the creation of a faux mantel over it. I just collected an old piece of wood that I had in my garden and I used my wedding L brackets as a support for it (here you can find the wedding video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9A0jBqR_8Y&t=256s).
Since I was creating a mantel, I decided to realize an extra cabinet over the mantel and use it as an extra storage for pots and pans.
For the shelf I used a left over from my kitchen; for the cabinets door I went for a metallic material painted in black (you will also find moments where we weld), so that it could be fire proof and could tie with the industrial style of the kitchen; I used wooden handles for an accent colour; I wrapped the flue with an isolating material so that the woodden beam wasn't in direct contact with the fire.
The icing on the cake as been adding a led strip (you will find some instructions on how to wire) to light up the space and enhanche the bricks on the wall.
This cabinet was anchored from one side to a normal wall, on the other to a drywall that we build for this occasion. The drywall permitted me also to place the fridge next to the stove. We used a fire proof drywall sheet and a normal one, and we sandwiched them onto an alluminium skeleton.
I am obsessed with the result.
