54 of 233 escalators on two oldest lines fully refurbished: SMRT

Rail operator SMRT said it has fully refurbished 54 escalators on the North-South and East-West Lines. This is about one-quarter of the 233 escalators across the two oldest lines. Work on another 21 is currently in progress.
