Local Official Shines Light On Discrimination Policies at Dauphin County Polling Place
Swatara Township Commissioner Tom Connolly highlighted some of the alleged racial discrimination policies at the Bressler Fire Club in front of the Dauphin County Commissioners on Wednesday.
The Bressler Fire Club has been accused of not allowing Black or Brown residents in Dauphin County to join their club and has come under scrutiny in recent years from the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General.
Dauphin County Commissioners voted unanimously on Wednesday during an elections board meeting to relocate the polling place from the fire club to a near-by elementary school.
