SPALTED MAPLE ON THE WOOD-MIZER

In this video I finish up where we left off on the last video. I complete the sawing of the chestnut logs then move on to a maple timber. This maple log had been lying on the ground after harvesting for over three years. Due to that process it had developed spalting and also had ambrosia beetle damage as well. This log made some nice 9/4 slabs that will be kiln dried after air drying. I hope to make these slabs into some nice book matched tables.
