BALD EAGLE narrowly recovers from lead poisoning and flies free!

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022 we set this eagle free at Claytor Lake State Park in Virginia! This eagle came to us with lead poisoning after being recovered from a landfill. The eagle was barely able to walk- and one month later, the eagle regained his strength enough to return to the wild!
