Brenda Holloway tells Tom about her musical career.

Brenda Holloway was raised in South Central Los Angeles. While growing up in the Watts section, she played several instruments and sang in the church choir. After gaining recognition for her singing, she gained fame as a recording artist for Motown Records when her biggest hit "Every Little Bit Hurts" was released in 1965. She also recorded the Mary Wells song "When I'm Gone". She co-wrote with her sister Patrice another song, which she recorded, but became a monster hit for Blood, Sweat and Tears in 1969 "You've Made Me So Very Happy." Brenda took a few moments to break from her busy schedule and tell Tom about her history and contributions to rock 'n' roll history.
