Exploring the old deserted & abandoned colonial farms of New England. Following the old rock walls and cart paths we read the landscape that the settlers shaped and changed by making their farms. I brought my Fisher F19 Metal detector along anyways just incase I came along something interesting. A good hike and always interesting to look at thee old farms that once were wide open fields and pastures that are now completely forest.
