A look inside the Sentry & how to double the battery capacity

I took apart my Sentry ADS-B to have a look at the components and PCB design.

I noticed something peculiar. It appears there's an area on the PCB and in the case allocated to a second 18650 lithium battery in parallel with the first..

I will add one and do some tests to see if this in fact works. I see no reasons at first glance that it will not.
