While the Lib Dems aren't picking the person who will be the next Prime Minister of the country, their winner will still be a major figure. As arguably 'THE' remain party, the Lib Dem Leader will have a major role to play in the negotiations, especially if they get the opportunity to increase their share of parliament in a general election.
