One of my favorite arcs in Sangatsu no Lion is the Burnt Field, in this video we trace the evolution of the symbolism of fire and sashes, and learn how it speaks to the themes of the value of expectations and potential.

Day 2 of the 5x5 is done! I'll likely come back to this topic / remake this video once it's over. I didn't get into nearly as much depth as I wanted to about the symbolism, tying it into the rest of the show, and talking more about the visual direction. It's already a long video without those things, so imagine my struggle figuring out what not to keep while I was writing.
