LUNA SEA「LUCA - 2021.8.1@南相馬市民文化会館ゆめはっと大ホール」

This is the release of a live recording from the ongoing nationwide tour "LUNA SEA 30th Anniversary Tour 20202021 -CROSS THE UNIVERSE-" of the song “LUCA”. It is the first song on the latest album "CROSS”, which was released in December 2019.

The performance was held at the "Minamisoma Civic Cultural Hall" on August 1st (Sun), 2021. "LUCA” is not only the first song on the album "CROSS" but was also the opening number of this particular live performance.

In the midst of the pandemic, LUNA SEA has been proving that live venues can be safe places throughout their tour by taking all possible measures to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases as well as adopting a new two-part stage format to ensure thorough ventilation of the venues.

Minamisoma, the city where the first half of the tour concluded, was the site of the Great East Japan Earthquake that caused countless lost lives and unprecedented damage 10 years ago. This live performance was specially arranged by LUNA SEA to deliver hope and courage to the area as well as to send a positive message for the future.

While there is still seemingly no way out of the worldwide corona pandemic, LUNA SEA hopes that you will experience the power of music through the strong and hopeful performance at this special place of Minamisoma to help you take the first step towards the future.

現在進行中の全国ツアー「LUNA SEA 30th Anniversary Tour 20202021 -CROSS THE UNIVERSE-」より、8月1日（日）に開催された「南相馬市民文化会館ゆめはっと大ホール」公演の模様から、2019年12月にリリースされた最新アルバム「CROSS」の１曲目に収録されており、ライヴでもオープニングを飾るナンバー「LUCA」のライヴ映像が公開された。

コロナ禍の中、万全の感染症防止対策に加え、換気徹底のための2部構成による新たなステージ形態で、ライヴ会場は安全な場所であることを、ツアー１本１本を通じて証明してきたLUNA SEA。

そしてツアー前半戦を締めくくることとなった場所「南相馬」は、10年前、あの未曾有の大被害を生み出した東日本大震災の被災地であり、LUNA SEAとして、この地に希望と勇気を届けるため、そして未来に向けてのメッセージを発信するために、特別に組まれた公演でもあった。

未だコロナ禍という全世界を巻き込んだパンデミックの出口が見えない中、南相馬という特別な場所から放たれた、明日へ１歩踏み出すための強い意志と、希望に満ち溢れたパフォーマンスに触れて、音楽の持つ力を是非感じてほしい。
