The third tranche of declassified military records under the PURSUE initiative is officially live on WAR.GOV/UFO, and the verdict is in: the internet is completely unimpressed.

While the Department of War and FBI Director Kash Patel claim this rolling release represents a historic leap in federal transparency, a deep dive into the actual raw data tells a very different story. Out of the dozens of newly unsealed FBI, CIA, and Pentagon files documenting "glowing red orbs" in the northeastern United States, there isn't a single shred of high-quality scientific evidence. Instead, the collection is filled with blacked-out witness statements, pixelated radar data, and anomalies that have incredibly mundane explanations.
