I'm happy to show you studio 18 from our Octane Lighting Essentials, Volume 2. This scene is called Caravaggio, and is named after the famous Italian painter. His style is very unique, with a very soft look, but usually with light streaming in through side windows causing hard shadows and dramatic lighting. This is a beautiful way to present items with a dramatic, painterly flare. This is a perfect set up for still life renders, like those done by Raphael Rau.

This studio comes with a full xpresso rig to control where the light streams in through the side holes in the wall which you can expand or contact. You can include all the lights, or turn most of them off for a more dramatic mood and like always you can control the temperature, direction and intensity of all the lights very easily with sliders.

You can also add that nice soft painterly glow with post effects. There's a camera set up already for you and you can just dial in the post effects in the xpresso rig.
