2018 - 2020 Ford F150 OEM LED Headlight install on a truck with halogen headlights.

The factory halogen headlights on the new Ford F150s are weak compared to their halogen counterparts. Although we wouldn't consider them anemic by our standards, improving them by updating to the OEM LED housings provides a massive improvement as illustrated in the video.

This particular video is going over the process to install the 2018 - 2020 Ford F150 OEM LED Headlight install on a truck with halogen headlights. While there, we also installed the Morimoto XB LED foglight as well for that perfect color match. Most of the processes described in this video for the 2020 F150 can be applied to the 2015 - 2017 F150s as well. The main difference between the 15-17 and the 18-20 trucks will be the harness aspect. The 15-17 trucks can utilize the Morimoto relay harness with capacitors which will enable the OEM LED lights to work without any ECU programming, however the 18-20 trucks utilize a more plug and play harness, but will need to be coded by ForScan for the headlights to work properly. The programming can be done through us as we have Forscan on hand for a seamless install. The Black Flames Harness described in the video came with the wrong attachment, however after discussing with Black Flames, they have improved the harness to alleviate any weak points.
