"Falling to Pieces" is the third single on Faith No More's first studio album with Mike Patton on vocals, The Real Thing.
Mike Patton,who was singing with his high school band, Mr. Bungle, was recruited at Jim Martin's suggestion(Faith no More guitarist), after he heard a demo of Mr. Bungle. Mike Patton joined Faith No More, and in two weeks, had written all the lyrics for the songs that would make up the Grammy award-nominated The Real Thing
