Flame test Li, Na, K, Cu ions
In this video, I am going to show you how to prepare the metal loop for the flame test. I will also show you how to perform the flame test for cation identification using the solid crystals and the salt solution. The cations that we identify in this video are the ones required by IGCSE, which are lithium, sodium, potassium and copper(II) ions.
