A miracle with birds

Pujya Sri Swamiji speaks on the incident that occurred in Shuka Vana on 1 November 2013

"Blue-cheeked Conure - We selected it as one of the Navagraha birds (birds related to the nine planets) in our Aviary. It is a free flying bird. Normally, we do not cut the wings of the birds in our Shuka Vana Aviary.

Today, something strange happened. This bird suddenly flew away. He is very dear to Swamiji. It was later found that the bird had settled in the neighbourhood village of Gundurao Nagar about half a mile away. Surprisingly, amongst the hundreds of houses, it had selected the house of a devotee of Lord Venkateswara, a frequent visitor to the Ashrama temple and also a lover of birds. I am happy, the bird returned back to us. I am sure you have noticed in the video, how the bird flew away and returned back. Prashant and Rakesh are both bird lovers. The bird probably chose to go to their house because of the positive vibrations. If you like the bird, the bird will also like you. This is Swamiji 's observation and research.

Dusky-headed Conure - This is another bird. Two months back it flew away and two days later it returned. Birds are full of positive vibrations. So, I like them.

Help the injured birds. If you want keep a bird, you must also take the commitment to provide all facilities to it till its end. You should not let go or let out in the middle. It has to be a lifelong friendship bond. Only with such a commitment should you consider buying or rearing a bird. For me, they are all angels. They are God's gifts. They understand us pretty well. I had almost lost these two birds, but I am happy they returned home."
