Here's a look at my husband installing the last section of wooden fence posts and corral boards that needed to be replaced in our yard. He has worked hard to replace every posts and board around our yard and pasture.

The type of fence we have is a Three Rail Fence. The posts are spaced 8 feet apart for a Three Rail Fence. Corral Boards are sold at a few inches longer than 16'. Space those posts every 8', center the rails on the posts and stagger them for a strong, sturdy fence.

You can use the steps in this video to set wooden fence posts in concrete for any fence design. Just make sure you know how far TO SPACE THE FENCE POSTS for the type of fence you are building.

It takes time and some hard work, but the steps to set wooden fence posts in concrete are really pretty straight forward.

Please Note: He stopped tying a plum line or thin rope across 2 posts to keep a straight line, because after years of doing this, he's really good at lining them up without the plum line. But, if you're new to this or worried about it, please use a plum line or thin rope to line the posts up straight.

16' PT Corral Boards
2' Spirit Level, or longer
