The Yamaha YAS-23, made in Japan, was discontinued in 2012 but is still widely available on eBay, Craigslist and through private sellers. Know what's even better? Most YAS-23's now sell for approximately $500 USD, making it (in our opinion) the best saxophone you can buy for $500!
