Electrolysis Quick Tip: How To Preserve Your Relics.

I was asked to show my electrolysis setup and how I preserve "some" of my relics. I use a product called Gemplers Rust Converter. I don't us it on Civil Relics such as shell frags, cannonballs, etc. I would used some called paraffin to seal up those precious relics. However, for the run of the mill relics, I like using Gemplers. I use about 4 coats but make sure you are applying the rust converter in a dry and warm environment. Finally, once they are dry, DO NOT reintroduce them into a cold, damp environment otherwise the relics will begin rust again.

Here are the items you need to build your own electrolysis setup (like mine):
1. 5 Gallon bucket (Lowes or Home Depot)
2. Fill the bucket with water so that the relics are covered.
3. Add 1/4 cup of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda to the water and mix found here via Amazong: https://amzn.to/48zIEk7
