Green Sycamore Hollow Form With burnt on Octopus

Drying wood with a heat gun can be dangerous as with anything involving wood turning. Please wear proper face protection. Cracks can develop and could possibly cause splits resulting in pieces flying off of the lathe. This had never happen to me but could happen.
This method is a faster way to dry green turned wood but there are cons with this method. Like, warping and cracking. Results may vary depending on thickness of piece and type of wood.

As for all my videos this is just my journey in wood turning and experimentation along the way. It may not be right, may not be perfect, may not be what YOU would do, But this is where I am and I love learning as I go.
