Making DIY Beard Butter For My Man!

Hi guys,

This video is all about how I made a DIY beard butter for my Man. He was looking for something to use for his skin and beard that wasn’t too greasy/oily but moisturising and helped with his bumps and ingrown hairs.
I jumped right on the task and decided to make a beard butter for him. I went with a cup recipe and free-styled to create the revised recipe I share with you below.
Please note this is just a guideline, you can add any carrier oils and essential oils you fancy and you can always skip the beeswax if you wanted a lighter beard butter.
The Mister was happy with this recipe so I consider this a job well done for my first attempt.

Revised Recipe;

2 cups Shea Butter
21/2 tablespoons BeesWax (1 Bar)
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Jamaican Black Castor Oil
1 teaspoon to include all essential oils
Tea Tree, Peppermint, Lemongrass and Lemon
Glass Jar from Ikea to store the butter.

Benefits of all ingredients:

Shea Butter:
Helps reduce razor bumps when shaving or styling the beard and helps repair damaged hair. Prevents hair loss and provides relief from itchy scalp and beard itch
Repairs split ends and prevents hair breakage and serves as a natural hair and beard conditioner.

Beeswax:
The anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax encourage the healing of wounds. It is also protective, helping form a barrier between the skin and the environment without clogging pores. Further, beeswax is high in vitamin A, which has been found to support cell reconstruction and health

Olive Oil:
Contains vitamin E which aids beard growth. Olive oil helps in beard growth by penetrating hair follicle and stimulating them.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil:
Is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E. It works for all hair types and beards. It will moisturise, thicken, strengthen and rapidly increase hair growth. It increases blood flow to the scalp, supplying valuable nutrients to hair follicles.

Tea Tree:
The medicinal benefits from using tea tree oil are plenty. Since it's generally thought of as a moisturiser, the skin just below the beard is less likely to become red or irritated. By unclogging hair follicles, the immune system is boosted which makes any sort of bacterial contamination very unlikely.

Peppermint:
One of the benefits of using peppermint oil for beard growth is because it can increase the flow of blood to the facial area where hair grows. Once there is more blood flowing, then the hair follicles have the nutrients needed so that more hair can grow and so that it can grow faster.

Lemongrass;
strengthens the hair follicles helping prevent breakage and hair loss.

Lemon:
Is known for its ability to remove toxins from any part of the body, including the skin and hair. Lemon is beneficial to hair, and is a known treatment for acne and seborrhoea.
