O Virgin Pure, Agni Parthene - Greek Christian Hymn to the Mother of God

“O Virgin Pure” (Agni Parthene/ Ἁγνὴ Παρθένε in Greek) is a hymn to the Mother of God composed by Nectarios of Aegina. It’s not a very old hymn but is much loved by the Eastern Churches. The Slavic version is found in this video, and is sung by the Studite Monks of the Univ Lavra in Ukraine. The words are found below, along with a very rough translation of the original that I made, but which DOES NOT correspond to the version in the video unfortunately. At least it will give an idea of what is being sung.

Маріє, Діво Чистая, Пресвятая Богородице;
Радуйся, Невісто неневістная.
Царице, Мати, Діво, Руно всепокривающеє;

Превишшая Небесних сил, Нетварноє Сіяніє;

Brighter than the firmament, most pure and radiant light;

Holier than the heavenly ranks, of all the heavenly armies;
