One more Organ Donation from Surat

In last twenty one days this was fifth cadaver organ donation from Surat and Ankleshwar through Donate Life.

This was 392th Kidney and 162nd Liver Donation through Donate Life.

This organ donation was done from Venus Hospital, Surat through Donate Life in which Kidney, Liver and Corneas had donated.

We lost our Donate Life Volunteer Gitesh Modi who had always helped us to spread the awareness of organ donation in the society. By donating his vital organs his family has set an example of Life after Death.

Lt.Gitash had a road accident few days back. Yesterday doctors declared him brain dead. His wife decided to donate the vital organs of his beloved husband says that my husband Gitesh was spreading awareness of organ donation in the society with Donate Life. He always wanted to see smile on the faces of organ failure patients. Today he is brain dead but by donating his organs i have fulfill his wish.

We salute our warriors Lt.Gitash Modi, his wife and family members for their brave decision to donate the vital organs.

Transplantation of Liver was done at CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad.

One Kidney transplantation was done at IKDRC, another Kidney transplantation was done at K.D.Hospital Ahmedabad.

Corneas were donated to Lokdhrasti Chaksu Bank Surat.

We are very much thankful to Doctors and Management of Venus hospital Surat for their wholehearted support to this noble cause.
