The Ascension of the Lord
Mathew 28: 16-20

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today Jesus gives us three types of missions. By fulfilling these missions, we will experience His presence with us and help others to feel the same.

1. To Witness Christ in the World.
As Jesus ascends into heaven, He calls us to be His witnesses in the world. Our lives should reflect His light and truth, serving as testaments to His presence and love among us.

2. To Preach the Good News That God Has Redeemed Us.
We are commissioned to share the good news of salvation—that God has redeemed us through His Son. It is our duty to proclaim the message of hope and grace, inviting others to experience the transformative power of His love.

3. To Show by Our Love That He Is Always with Us.
Jesus assures us that He is with us always, even to the end of the age. We demonstrate His presence through our love for one another, showing compassion and kindness and reflecting the love of Christ in every action and interaction.

Lord Jesus, strengthen us to become Your witnesses in the world through our lives. Amen.
