An immigrant from Indonesia, Rudy arrived in the United States with dreams, determination, and a willingness to work hard for a better future.

For our very first interview, we chose Rudy not because of his accomplishments, awards, or the more than $1 billion in real estate sales he has helped facilitate.

We chose him because of the person he is.

Throughout the years, Rudy has built a reputation for serving others, mentoring future leaders, empowering those around him, and creating opportunities within his community. His success is impressive, but his character is what inspired us to invite him as our first guest.

Although his parents sacrificed and saved their life savings to provide him with opportunities for higher education, Rudy chose a different path. Rather than following a traditional academic route, he committed himself to developing his skills in sales, communication, and leadership. Through consistency, determination, and a willingness to learn from both success and failure, he built a career that would eventually impact thousands of lives.

Bio:
Rudy Lira Kusuma is an Indonesian-American entrepreneur, the founder of Partner Real Estate, one of California's most recognized real estate organizations.

Born on the island of Java, Indonesia, Rudy immigrated to the United States in pursuit of education and opportunity. His journey embodies the American Dream. Arriving as an international student, he attended Santa Monica College before earning a degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Originally planning a career in science and astronomy, his life took a dramatic turn after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, which inspired him to pursue entrepreneurship and learn the art of sales and leadership.

Rudy entered the real estate industry in 2007 during one of the most challenging housing markets in modern history. While many were leaving the business, he built innovative systems focused on partnership, education, and helping consumers navigate uncertainty. What began as a personal mission to create a better life for his young family grew into a thriving real estate organization that has helped thousands of families buy and sell homes throughout Southern California. Today, he has participated in more than $1 billion in real estate transactions and leads a company dedicated to empowering agents, serving consumers, and creating opportunities for others.

Beyond business, Rudy is deeply committed to philanthropy and community impact. Since 2009, he has partnered with World Harvest to help fight hunger, support families in need, and expand educational opportunities for underserved communities. His organizations and team members have also contributed significant support to Children's Hospital Los Angeles, World Harvest, and numerous charitable causes locally and internationally. Rudy believes that business should be a vehicle to serve others and create lasting positive change.
