‘A Flying Tank’: Why the Mi-24 Is Called the World’s Only Assault Helicopter | WSJ Equipped
As artillery supplies dwindle, Ukraine is turning more frequently to its aging Mi-24 helicopters to counter Russian adversaries. Although obsolete and often older than the pilots, these helicopters will become more important as Ukrainian forces wait for delayed weapons.
