WHAT is a LOCKED IN RETIREMENT ACCOUNT? - LIRA Tips and Tricks

In this video I'll go over what a Locked In Retirement Account - LIRA (or Locked In RRSP) is and give you 8 LIRA tips and tricks for using them. These accounts are typically used when you are working at a company with a pension program or some other type of retirement plan. If you leave the company you may be able to take a lump sum payment with you. You then move this payment to a LIRA in order to hold that money at your bank until retirement age.
